Job Title

Permanent Part-Time Receptionist

Function Summary

We are seeking a part-time Receptionist for our Canadian Division Head Office. The successful candidate will be the face of the company, primarily responsible for welcoming and directing visitors, as well as managing a high volume of telephone calls. The ideal candidate will be agile, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the success of our team.

  • Fixed Schedule: Monday and Tuesday.
  • Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (17.5 hours/week).
  • Flexibility: Possibility of additional work days/coverage.
  • Salary: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour.
  • Paid Break: The lunch break is paid.
  • Pension Plan: Group registered retirement savings plan with employer contribution (6% match after one year).
  • Coverage: Availability required to replace during vacations or sick leave absences.
  • Parking: Parking is available on site.
Responsibilities
  • Visitor Greeting: Professionally greet and direct visitors with courtesy.
  • Call Management: Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls (high volume: approximately 10 calls per 30-minute period).
  • Logistics: Receive and ship packages; sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Support: Perform various administrative and office support tasks and office support.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Clerk.
  • Bilingualism: French and English required (oral and written), as the individual must answer calls in both languages.
  • Technical Skills: Good command of computer tools and office software (MS Office, etc.).
  • Qualities: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with precision and efficiency (multitasking), professional attitude, and impeccable customer service.
