Job summary

A recruitment software provider is seeking a candidate skilled in technical documentation and quality management systems. The role requires analyzing and producing QMS documentation and ensuring compliance with government publishing guidelines. Ideal candidates must have a relevant post-secondary degree and two years of related experience. This position is located in Gatineau, Outaouais, Canada.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience in a technical field within the past five years.
  • Two years' experience writing technical documents or standard operating procedures.
  • Experience in an ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 accredited organization.

Job description

Tasks

These tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Analyzing material, such as laboratory procedures and other Quality Management System (QMS) documents to explain the requirement clearly and concisely.
  2. Writing, modifying, validating and compiling QMS documents.
  3. Gathering information, analyzing the subject and the audience, and producing clear QMS documentation.
  4. Studying existing material and interviewing Stakeholders.
  5. Creating accurate, complete and concise documentation to communicate the needs of the requirement.
  6. Assimilating and conveying technical material in a concise, effective manner.
  7. Following governmental publishing guidelines.
  8. Reviewing QMS documents for conformance to established standards.
  9. Design the layout of the QMS documents, guides and manuals.
  10. Produce QMS training materials to assist users with the QETE QMS.
  11. Assist with quality analysis of trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  12. Uses word-processing, desk-top publishing and graphics software packages to produce final documents.
  13. Store records in the Records, Document, and Information Management System (RDIMS) produced through the execution of QMS processes according to standard operating procedures.
  14. Attend QETE Management Review meetings, take notes and draft meeting records.

The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a post-secondary education in a science, technology, or engineering field or the equivalent as established by a recognized* Canadian academic credentials assessment service, if obtained outside Canada.

MT.2

The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has two (2) years’ experience within the past five (5) years working in a technical field.

MT.3

The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has two (2) years of combined experience within the past five (5) years writing technical documents or standard operating procedures.

MT.4

The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has two (2) years of combined experience within the past five (5) years working in an ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 accredited organization.
