Temporary (6-9 months assignment) Quality Control - Admin

who will support the Quality Department by maintaining documentation, coordinating quality activities, and ensuring that records, logs, and processes meet internal and external standards. This role helps keep the organization compliant, organized, and audit‑ready while assisting with day‑to‑day quality control tasks

Duties of the Role:
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including calibration logs, NCR records, inspection reports, and controlled documents.
  • Assist in reviewing incoming documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Support the preparation of quality reports, metrics, and dashboards for management review.
  • Coordinate document revisions, approvals, and distribution in accordance with document control procedures.
  • Track and follow up on open NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
  • Assist with internal audits by organizing records, preparing checklists, and gathering required evidence.
  • Communicate with internal teams to collect missing information, clarify discrepancies, and support quality‑related inquiries.
  • Help maintain compliance with ISO standards, N299.3 Standards and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to the organization.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Manager and Quality team as needed.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Postsecondary education in a related field (such as Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or office administration) is an asset.
  • Additional training or certification in quality systems (ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, or Document Control) is considered an advantage.
  • Previous experience in quality control, document control, or administrative support is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Type and Length of Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-education relevant experience.

Compensation & Total Rewards

The salary range for this role is $50,000-60,000 CAD annually, based on experience and role alignment.
