Location: Toronto
Work arrangement: Hybrid model (2 days per week in office) becoming 3 and eventually 4. Contract Duration: ASAP till Oct 1st. Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE – Depending on performance and business needs. Number of Positions: 1. Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday (No overtime). Reason: Extra support.

Typical Day in Role
- Develop Test Strategies for project delivery.
- Develop Test scenarios and queries for the in-house developed application, DB level and E2E testing scripts.
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Produce dashboards and reports for sprints or code releases.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
- Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content.
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
- Good understanding of testing standards and methodologies.
Must-Have Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA Testing.
- Experience with Salesforce integration.
- 3+ years of experience using: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/Git.
- Managing test cases and test plans using JIRA plugins such as Xray or Zephyr.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Talend (version 7 or 8).
- Exposure to nCino (particularly within financial services and automation contexts).
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform functional testing.
- Salesforce certification.
- Previous experience in the financial industry (FI).

Education & Certificates
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Engineering or a related field.

Candidate Review & Selection Process
The interview process consists of two rounds:
- First Round Interview — Participants: Hiring Manager, QA Lead, and ETL Developer; Format: 1-hour video call via Microsoft Teams; Focus: Discussion of the candidate’s work experience and technical background.
- Second Round Interview — Participants: Hiring Manager and Vice President; Format: 30-minute video call via Microsoft Teams; Focus: Evaluation of professional experience, behavioral competencies, communication, and presentation skills.
