Rate of Pay: 52.34 - 69.50

The Opportunity

Responsible for delivering treatment services to clients referred by Veterans\' Affairs Canada and Department of National Defence as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include: administering and interpreting standardized psychological assessment instruments, designing individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs, and delivering evidence-based psychological treatment interventions. Travel may be required between Calgary, Red Deer, and any additional Carewest OSI sites. Other related duties as required.

Program Summary

Operational Stress Injury (OSI) Clinic – an outpatient clinic funded by Veterans Affairs Canada that supports former and current Canadian Forces members, and members of the RCMP suffering from an Operational Stress Injury who require specialized assessment and treatment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduated from a recognized degree program in Psychology.
  • Master\'s Degree required; a PhD would be preferred.
  • Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
  • Experience in delivering effective individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with members of the military or police forces preferred.
  • Experience in treating anxiety disorders, including PTSD, preferred.
