Overview

Condor Properties is a privately owned real estate development company based in Vaughan, Ontario, affiliated with the Con-Drain Group of Companies. Condor’s principals have over 40 years of experience in land development. Our core assets consist of high-quality industrial, office, medical and retail properties comprising over 6.7 million square feet, all strategically located throughout the GTA and surrounding areas.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Property Maintenance Representative to join our Property Management division. The successful candidate requires real estate experience and is familiar with commercial/industrial/office/retail spaces. The individual will be a self-starter and genuinely curious; that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment; can multi-task, efficiently prioritize work under timelines with a high sense of ownership in their work; and has a strong foundation in property maintenance and safety. This role reports to the Operations Manager as well as the VP of Operations.

Responsibilities
Maintenance Role
  • Maintain property appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed on a timely basis. This requires regular property inspections and visits.
  • Ensure that all service requests are recorded and communicated appropriately to maintenance.
  • Assessing and troubleshooting problems
  • Perform daily maintenance and inspections of all common areas
  • Perform inspection of vacant units
  • Ensure the properties maintain a high level of curb appeal
  • Following up and ensuring Customer Service tasks are completed in a timely manner and 100% customer satisfaction is attained
  • Special Projects assigned from time to time
Safety
  • Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, and provincial safety rules.
  • Ensure that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
Other Functions
  • Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and work with management to initiate appropriate course of action.
  • Demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service
  • Be able to work evenings and weekends as applicable for on call duties.
  • Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the property.
  • Comply with expectations as demonstrated in the Employee Handbook.
  • Be proactive, assertive and onerous of designated property assigned
  • Complete assigned tasks as driven by deadlines
  • Liaise with trades and contractors on repairs/services required for your designated properties.
  • Special Projects assigned from time to time
