Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Profitably complete projects as per client specifications.
  • Plan resources and address shortfalls or over-resourcing issues.
  • Coordinate and manage interfaces with other parts of the division.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
  • Prepare project Cost Value Reports with commercial staff.
  • Liaise with estimating for quality tender submissions.
  • Deliver project schemes profitably and on time.
  • Assist in identifying new client targets with Commercial Manager.

Project Manager – Piling

Salary: £55k - £65k + Pkg
Location: Kent
Regions: Kent, London, South East, Sussex

A specialist Civil Engineering / piling Contractor is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to manage a variety of piling and foundation schemes in London varying in value up to £20m. Working as part of the management team, reporting to the Regional Director and managing site teams consisting of Agents, Sub Agent, Engineers, Foreman and Sub Contractors.

Qualifications
  • Must have extensive experience of operating at PM level on Piling civil engineering schemes
  • Previous experience of civil, earthworks, Piling, Highways/Roads and Design and Build Projects
  • Degree qualified and have the ability to manage a project team
Responsibilities
  • To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction
  • Plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division
  • Ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely
  • Jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff
  • Liaison with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients
  • To deliver project schemes profitably and to time to enhance BBRCE’s reputation and look to further business
  • To assist in recognising new client targets and developing an approach to target with Commercial Manager
