Your role

As a Project Manager on our Partner Professional Services team, you will be a key player in ensuring the successful deployment of Dialpad solutions for customers sourced through our partner network. Your focus will be on these partner-sourced projects, delivering exceptional customer experiences and addressing challenges that arise during the project lifecycle. You will own the entire deployment process for your customers, guiding them through our proven deployment methodology and coordinating with technical experts as needed.

This role involves educating and onboarding customers on Dialpad products, and managing the relationships between our partners and our shared customers. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to contribute to customer success and retention. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Partner Professional Services. Candidates must be able to work US hours.

What You’ll Do
  • Take full ownership of customer deployment projects, ensuring successful implementation of all Dialpad products and features.
  • Apply the Dialpad deployment methodology and use tools to onboard customers.
  • Manage changes to deployment scope and schedule, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain thorough project documentation, recording decisions and progress.
  • Meet regularly with customers to verify and track project requirements and deliverables.
  • Partner with Dialpad Solution Architects to form a deployment team focused on customer success and project delivery.
  • Utilize cloud platforms and tools (e.g., Salesforce, PSA tools) to manage, track, and monitor projects and customer health.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope, meeting success criteria.
  • Conduct admin training sessions, assist with configuring integrations, support device provisioning, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Monitor and report project status to management and leadership, escalating issues as needed.
  • Address and resolve customer escalations and risks on active projects to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure seamless handoffs to Customer Success and Support teams.
Skills You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience with project-tracking platforms.
  • Strong focus on thorough project hygiene, including tracking hours and tasks.
  • Ability to lead project meetings, hold customers accountable, and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite, Salesforce, Jira, and other cloud platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for remote interactions.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Support, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Channel Partner Managers, and other teams as needed.
