Overview
Our client requires a project manager to lead the delivery of a strategic digital health initiative that enhances secure online access to personal health information for residents. Responsibilities include overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder projects within a broader digital identity program, ensuring alignment with government priorities and managing all aspects of planning, execution, and reporting. This role requires coordination across public sector areas and partners to enable seamless, trusted digital health services.
Location
Work is hybrid with up to 3 days per week onsite at client location in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-profile digital initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including charters, integrated plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues proactively, and ensure timely reporting to executive leadership.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, methodologies, and compliance standards.
- Oversee resource allocation, financial forecasting, and change management throughout the project lifecycle
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience managing, coordinating, and overseeing multiple projects within an integrated framework, demonstrating strong program management capabilities.
- 10+ years’ experience handling client relationships, managing expectations, providing updates as required, identifies potential conflicts between project and functional areas
- 10+ years’ experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server
- 10+ years’ experience managing and coordinating project monitoring, anticipates and troubleshoots issues, provides ongoing expertise, resolves problems, and provides project effectiveness
- Public Sector experience
