Overview

Our client is a leading Business Intelligence platform provider that delivers end‑to‑end solutions for reporting, analytics and data integration. They have engaged ROSS to recruit a Project Manager for their Consulting Services practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex implementation, integration, enhancement or audit projects.
• Define production consulting scope, proposals, service engagements and demand creation.
• Manage and mentor Production Consultants assigned to a project.
• Work as part of a team with Sales, Sales Consultants and Director of Professional Services.
• Meet services revenue targets.
• May also serve as a senior‑level billable consultant when needed.

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree in business, technical or related field (preferred).
• 5 years Consulting or Management experience.
• Understanding of core Business Intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology: RDBMS such as SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Teradata, Web, Client/Server and OLAP.
• Technical expertise in all areas of MicroStrategy functionality, as well as subject matter expertise in areas such as Databases, SDK, Architecture, Security and BI Planning.
• Business Intelligence development experience and programming experience (SQL, Visual Basic, C, C++); Web/Internet experience (JAVA, HTML, ASP, XML, XSL, JavaScript).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements.
• Application knowledge of the following industries: Consumer Packaged Goods, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Telecommunications, Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare and ERP.
• Timely delivery of all project related deliverables.
• Ability to position additional products and services into existing accounts.
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience with implementation methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to build and deliver presentations to all levels of the business and effectively explain complex issues and concepts in simple, understandable language.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team of consultants.Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Proven customer satisfaction abilities.
