Job description

Our Projects team is growing here at rcs construction. We are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join our team based in our Bedford office. Are you seeking to gain experience in a fun, collaborative and fast paced organization, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

How you’ll spend your day:
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Select trade subcontractors and plan, schedule and co-ordinate their activities.
  • Manage project budgets and submit monthly progress billings.
  • Develop and maintain positive relations with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors.
  • Communicate regularly with Site Managers and all stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are built to drawing specifications and the timely completion of all site activities.
  • Provide leadership to labour force to ensure timely completion of all activities and deliverables.
  • Focus on managing the project schedule along with the team through the use of MS Project.
What will help you thrive:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ project management experience with a General Contractor.
  • Strong negotiation, time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Post‑secondary education in engineering, construction management or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Jonas management and Procore software experience would be considered an asset.
  • Gold Seal certification would be considered an asset.
