Program Management Support & Scope
The Program Manager is a resource to help the virtual team execute a focused Country Plan effectively. The Program Manager is meant to take on work related to orchestration for the Pillar & Functional leads to free up bandwidth that can be applied towards plan execution. This is a shared resource for the team.
Program Manager Responsibilities
- Support the initiative lead in running the Pillar and Functional lead meetings, including scheduling, agenda alignment, communication, and preparation support.
- Support Pillar leads in running their pillar v-team meetings, including scheduling, agenda alignment, and communication.
- Capture actions in all meetings, maintain a central log, and drive timely closure of all actions.
- Own the initiative's marketing budget, working with the v-team to ensure timely and compliant spend, and measure ROMI with appropriate metrics. Collaborate closely with the Investment Controller for budget alignment.
- Provide visibility on the marketing budget status, surface risks related to over/under spend, and work with the v-team to course correct.
- Participate in all pillar v-team working sessions to support the pillar lead, drive synergies, surface conflicts, and determine efficient solutions.
- Track impact within each pillar, ensure KPI goals are met, and support internal communications, including quarterly slides and newsletters.
- Maintain and own the AICP Teams site.
Program Manager Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business or related field.
- Strong task and meeting orchestration skills.
- Ability to collaborate with VPs and senior Directors.
- Excellent note-taking and follow-up skills.
- Experience managing marketing budgets.
- Proactiveness is essential.
- Proven program management and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of project management principles.
