A leading not-for-profit child care organization in Peterborough is seeking a Program Educator. This role involves engaging with children, families, and community partners to foster an enriching learning environment. Responsibilities include planning activities, maintaining a safe space, and documenting children's progress. Candidates should have experience with children and relevant certifications, as well as a passion for early learning. Hours : 35 to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

At Compass ELC Janet Castle you will work as a Program Educator spending your time engaging, connecting and learning alongside children, families, community partners and co-workers. You will work alongside the infant, toddler and preschool classrooms. You are passionate about early learning and care, play-based learning, emergent curriculum and lifelong learning. You are energetic, resourceful and creative in your pursuits of creating learning opportunities, building connections and engaging with children and families.
These roles will work within the infant, toddler and preschool rooms for 35 to 40 hours per week. Hours will be based on program needs and funding. Shift start and end times will fluctuate within the team and will fall within the program hours of 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday.
