Production Safety Manager

Department: Physical Production – Disney Entertainment Television (DET)
Position Summary: The Production Safety Manager supports the safe execution of film and television productions insured through Disney’s Occupational Health & Safety Program. Based in British Columbia, this role provides technical guidance, conducts risk assessments, and ensures compliance with territory requirements across the Canada provinces (e.g., WorkSafe BC, Ministry of Labour Ontario), and local health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Manager also acts as a thought leader in the sustainability space, building relationships with industry experts, participating in task forces, and promoting a culture of environmental responsibility across productions.
This role is essential to maintaining Disney’s commitment to safety and risk mitigation in physical production. The Manager serves as a bridge between corporate safety strategy and on-the-ground execution, ensuring that safety remains a visible and integral part of every production.

The hiring range for this remote position is C$90,500 to C$147,000 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other variable pay or benefits may be offered dependent on the level and position offered.
