🛠️ About the Role

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to high-quality production? Join QinetiQ Target Systems Canada (QTSC) as a Production Operator, where you’ll support the manufacture, testing, and operation of assemblies for uncrewed vehicles and support equipment used globally.

This is a safety-sensitive role that requires a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You’ll work hands-on with machinery, perform inspections, and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

🔧 What You’ll Do
  • Assemble products using build instructions and drawings
  • Test systems and sub-assemblies under supervision
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections
  • Maintain machinery and report issues
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Assist Engineering with documentation and testing
  • Perform incoming inspections aligned with ISO-9001 standards
🎓 What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience (preferred)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and resilience under pressure
  • Effective communication and attention to detail
🔐 Security & Safety
  • Must be eligible for Canadian Class 2 Security Clearance
  • Clean background and criminal record check required
  • Comfortable working in noisy environments and wearing PPE
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks
  • Willing to support and promote a positive safety culture
