Description

Hi, I am Mark, the Director of Product Marketing at Musora Media.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to take ownership of our student lifecycle journeys – from first login to long‑term engagement.

In this role, you’ll define the narratives, messages, and moments that help students understand what to do next and why it matters. This is a highly cross‑functional role where you’ll collaborate across Product, Growth Marketing, and Education teams to build compelling onboarding flows, in‑app messaging, lifecycle programs, and re‑engagement campaigns that drive measurable improvements in trial conversion, engagement, and retention.

The ideal candidate should be an exceptional copywriter who can translate user insights into clear messaging, build motivational experiences, and ensure that every step of the student journey feels intuitive and inspiring.

If you’re excited about shaping how musicians learn, stay motivated, and experience meaningful progress – this role is for you.

Include a Cover Letter:

Yes, we actually read them, and we want to read yours. Think of it as your audition: show off your copywriting chops, make us smile, make us curious, make us want to keep reading.

Important Notes:

To ensure you’re viewing the most accurate and up‑to‑date job opportunities, please apply directly through our official website or through our trusted third‑party sites (Indeed, Monster, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Talent.com & Ziprecruiter).

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Own the full lifecycle narrative
  • Lead the messaging strategy across onboarding, activation, engagement, renewal, and re‑engagement.
  • Ensure every student clearly understands our product and what to do next at each stage of their journey.
  • Leverage AI to scale personalized messaging and recommendations for our students.
Copywriting
  • You’ll be writing copy in different brand (and artist) voices across key marketing channels, including email, in‑app messages, push notifications, and landing pages, to engage our current membership base.
Drive trial‑to‑paid conversion and activation
  • Optimize onboarding flows (in‑app + email + push).
  • Develop messaging frameworks that connect product features and content to student motivations and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Growth to improve onboarding clarity, motivation, and next‑step guidance.
Translate user insights into strategic decisions
  • Leverage user research, insights, engagement data, and competitor analysis to inform messaging and student experience decisions.
  • Support Education, Growth, and Product teams with student surveys and market research.
Performance Tracking
  • Track and report on trial conversion, engagement, churn, and re‑engagement performance.
  • Communicate learnings, insights, and recommendations to cross‑functional stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • You have 3+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, product marketing, or growth roles (edtech or subscription experience is a huge bonus).
  • Creative copywriting skills.
  • You understand consumer behavior and can craft narratives that drive action and habit formation.
  • Passionate about data and using insights to inform decisions, messaging, and segmentation.
  • You’re equally comfortable writing copy, analyzing a funnel, and collaborating with designers and PMs.
  • You thrive in cross‑functional environments and are energized by working closely with others.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and effective at communicating priorities.
  • You care deeply about the student experience and are motivated by helping people learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
  • Strong attention to detail across copy, segmentation, and campaign structure.
  • Ability to exhibit the Company's Core Values: Empathy, Passion, and Grit.
  • Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)
  • Bonus if you play the drums, piano, guitar, or sing! You need to have a deep understanding of the needs & desires of people learning to play an instrument to be successful in this role.
Perks to working here (your benefits)
  • Extended Benefits. Health, prescriptions, dental, mental health support and vision benefits for full‑time/permanent positions – we care about our employees and we want to make sure YOU have the benefits you need to stay healthy and well.
  • Paid time off. We understand and value the importance of rest and recovery and that includes time away from work!
