THE TEAM

The mission of the Creative Design Department is to design beautiful collections that deliver on our Everyday Luxury promise.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Creative Design team is growing with it. As a member of the Creative Design Department, you will be part of the team responsible for telling the brand story through beautiful seasonal collections that our customers will love and race out to buy. As the Design Assistant, Creative Design, you will support with curating the seasonal collection concept and executing style design and style development to ensure collection cohesion for one of Aritzia's exclusive brands. THE ROLE

As the Design Assistant/Associate, you will support the Creative Design Department to:

• Establish the seasonal point of view of the collection.
• Curate the seasonal cohesive concept for the collection.
• Design the core components of the styles for the collection.
• Validate that each style executes on the creative design vision.
• Ensure there is cohesion across the entire collection.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Design Assistant, Creative Design, has:

• Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in product collection design and the appetite to continuously learn and develop oneself
• An understanding and passion for the industry in which we operate
• An understanding of Aritzia's brand vision and style fundamentals with a focus on trends and cultural influences

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $28-$33 CAD per hour. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
