We are hiring for a Full-Time Produce Department Manager position with a wage range of $45,000 - $60,000 at our location in Manning, AB.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead Produce Team in merchandising produce items for weekly, promotional, and seasonal displays
• Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts
• Schedule Produce Department Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met
• Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team
• Train, develop, and motivate Produce Department Team Members
• Resolve customer and Produce Department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth
• Providing an exceptional customer experience

What you Bring:

• 3 years minimum of progressive produce department, grocery, or retail management experience
• A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a produce or grocery environment
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs
• Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for leading and developing others
• Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
• Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
• Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
