A leading staffing agency in Kingston is seeking a Wire Cutter to join their busy production environment. The role requires accurate sorting and cutting of cable orders, along with packaging for shipping. Ideal candidates will have experience in labor roles, a reliable means of transportation, and be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. This position offers a pay rate of $19.00 per hour with Monday to Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• Must undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Sort cable by size and type.
• Cut wire and cable to specified lengths based on order requirements.
• Remove outer armor and strip insulation.
• Package completed orders for shipping.
• Follow instructions from the onsite supervisor.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.

Skills

Experience in warehouse, production, or general labour roles

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Basic math for measurements and order accuracy

Tools

CSA-approved steel-toed boots
