A local hydroelectric utility in Nelson is seeking a Power Line Technician to handle construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. Candidates must have a Journeyman Power Line Technician qualification and relevant certifications. This is a full-time position with a competitive pay of $53.94 per hour and benefits including professional development and flexibility.

POSITION SUMMARY: Working under the supervision of the Sub Foreman, the Power Line Technician is responsible for the construction, maintenance, repair and testing of distribution, transmission, overhead and underground electrical systems.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
COMPENSATION: $53.94 (IBEW 1003)
HOURS: 8 hours per day
DAYS: Main work days will be Monday to Friday. Power Line Technicians will also participate on an on-call roster.
