A leading agribusiness solutions provider in Hamilton is seeking a temporary position for summer 2026. This role involves managing boiler operations, ensuring water treatment, and maintaining emergency systems. Candidates must hold a Fourth Class Power Engineer Certificate and have experience with steam operations. The ideal candidate will uphold safety and food quality standards. This is a temporary position for summer 2026.
Schedule: Normal hours of work will be 8‑hour day shift Monday to Friday when on maintenance and 12‑hour day shift when training for Shift Engineer. When covering vacations, you will work 12‑hour shifts including days and nights.
The position requires a conscientious person in the areas of operational procedures, quality control & testing, good manufacturing practices (GMP), reporting, safety, personal appearance, cleanliness & housekeeping.
The area of responsibility includes the boiler operation which includes:
