IHM Mechanical is a mechanical company across Western Canada. We specialize in commercial service including Supermarkets, Food Production Facilities, and the design and installation of mechanical systems. IHM Mechanical is currently seeking hardworking, committed Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers. This role involves preventative maintenance contracts, as well as modification, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will be a Journeyman or Apprentice with experience in a mechanical service company.

This position requires taking direct instructions with ease, excellent time management skills, and strong communication skills with customers and co-workers. Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, identifying problems, determining required services, and picking up replacement parts.

All technicians are provided with a service van, uniform, cell phone, tablet, and full training on our systems. We utilize a robust service management program enabling real-time input and access to information for each site.

Candidate responsibilities include:

• Servicing commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential clients (95% commercial/industrial, 5% residential)
• Operating equipment, hand tools, power tools, and drain cleaning tools
• Handling and storing plumbing supplies and materials
• Adhering to site safety requirements
• Communicating professionally with colleagues, trades, and sub-trades
• Following written and verbal instructions
• Performing additional duties outside of daily tasks to ensure project completion
• Contributing positively to site and company culture
