Key Accountabilities

• Perform assigned lead activities.
• Operate equipment and technology tools throughout the production facility, backfilling prior areas as needed, utilizing a broad understanding of varied and multi‑dimensional processes to perform required duties.
• Support others in learning operating procedures, provide input to peers and recommend changes to ensure clarity and effectiveness of guidance, including procedure documentation.
• Perform maintenance and lead troubleshooting efforts throughout the facility, making adjustments or instructing others necessary.
• Ensure recording of production and inventory activities by the team is entered into computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e. forklift, skid loader).
• Understand and ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures, maintain a safe and clean work environment and control work pace and progress on assigned equipment and processes, requiring awareness of links with other process areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
• Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, may be required to lift up to 50lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic use of a computer.
• Must be able to work in various weather, industrial and agricultural settings.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• May require a valid Canadian full class 5 driver’s licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with short notice.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Grain and/or Crop Inputs Production Plant.
