Plant Manager Chilliwack, BC

Lock Search Group (LSG) is partnering with Red Bull Canada to find a Plant Manager for their new Fraser Valley facility in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Cameron Lappin from LSG is leading this recruitment.

The Plant Manager will oversee launching, scaling, and managing operations including production, quality control, health & safety, facilities maintenance, process improvement, and team management. The role involves developing processes to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with over seven years of plant management experience in the food and/or beverage industry, with a degree in food science, engineering, or business administration. Strong knowledge of safety protocols, lean manufacturing, and resource optimization is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills, data analysis capabilities, and familiarity with Canadian labor and safety regulations are required. Knowledge of lean methodologies and a solution-oriented mindset are highly valued.

Red Bull Canada aims to hire the most suitable candidate and offers financial relocation support for those willing to reside in the Eastern Fraser Valley region. Preference is given to local residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Degree in food science, engineering, or business administration.
  • Over 7 years of senior production management experience.
  • Strong health & safety awareness.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
  • Proven plant management experience in food/beverage industry.
  • Ability to analyze data and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools; Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with industry equipment, Canadian labor laws, and safety regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, including a 3-4 month onboarding in Austria with regular return visits.
