How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Plant Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in producing and re packaging of compressed and liquid gases cylinders, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay, and assigning job tasks to workers according to customer needs, current stock levels, and workers' expertise.

In particular, you will:

• Operate and safely maintain the plant for pumping or re packaging gases into cylinders, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies. Maintain a neat and orderly plant appearance.
• Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements. Adjust work procedures to meet schedules.
• Implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Modify working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
• Ensure all safety rules are observed, conduct safety training, and enforce safety regulations. Investigate and report injuries and accidents within 24 hours.
• Analyze and resolve work-related problems. Handle personnel actions and address employee grievances effectively.
• Manage and lead subordinate supervisors. Motivate workers, provide coaching, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Train new workers and cross-train associates to ensure continuous production.
• Maintain records of time and production, approve overtime, and keep overtime within acceptable levels.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?

• High School Diploma or GED, with at least five years of industry experience, including two years in a supervisory role. Prefer experience with compressed/packaged gases.
• Prior experience with SAP preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage metrics for efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills, ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills.
• Dedication to product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, moving up to 60 pounds, and working in various environments and weather conditions.
