SCHEDULE : 33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30

Challenges awaiting you

Under the wastewater treatment division chief, you will be responsible for planning various works and operations related to your department's mandate. Your duties include planning, analyzing, and controlling maintenance and updating programs for infrastructure and operations, ensuring personnel can perform their work effectively, efficiently, and adequately while respecting operational needs and budgets. You will coordinate programs within your expertise area, act as a super user in computer-assisted maintenance management (CAMM), and develop performance indicators to assess maintenance effectiveness.

You will ensure the smooth execution of programs to meet performance and quality objectives aligned with strategic planning.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Review and standardize existing maintenance programs and practices, identify gaps, and recommend optimizations.
  • Monitor industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinate maintenance interventions with operations managers and ensure proper equipment distribution.
  • Assist in establishing maintenance orientations, objectives, and programs, and assess resource needs.
  • This position is titled Planner according to the collective agreement.

The ideal profile

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, logistics, or relevant field.
  • At least six (6) years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with maintenance of sanitary pumps and storm pumping stations.
  • Skills in planning and estimating work.
  • Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Possess an ASP card.
