Description

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a full-time Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Primary Care Provider (PCP) to join our experienced and collaborative team in Wiscasset. The Lincoln Hospital Primary Care team provides expert primary care services in Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Waldoboro and Wiscasset, Maine. This is a unique opportunity to work in a close-knit, supportive community while enjoying the resources of Maine's largest academic health system.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with patients in a supportive practice environment.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring opportunities with medical students through the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Maine Track program.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Education/Training:

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.

  • Licenses/Certifications:

Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
