The Pharmacy Department is currently seeking a Permanent Full-Time Pharmacist to join their team. Effective date: February 09, 2026. Reporting to the Manager of Pharmacy, pharmacists are responsible for providing pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary team. These duties include pharmacotherapy monitoring and direct patient care services, supporting pharmacy technicians and assistants in the provision of a safe and efficient drug distribution system, all departmental operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager and/or Director and other reasonable duties as assigned. Pharmacists conduct their duties in a safe manner and report any safety issues/problems; take corrective action, where possible; and attend safety meetings/training in accordance with the Hospital\'s standards.
Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care within a multidisciplinary team; conduct pharmacotherapy monitoring and direct patient care services; support pharmacy technicians and assistants in the provision of a safe and efficient drug distribution system; perform departmental operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager and/or Director; fulfill other reasonable duties as assigned; perform duties in a safe manner and report safety issues/problems; take corrective action when possible; attend safety meetings/training in accordance with the Hospital\'s standards.
Must be available to work Monday to Sunday. Rotation of 10 hour shifts plus on call. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.
