Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product inquiries and sales.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding and drive sales.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Must love animals
• Should be able to work at both location
• Should be able to lift 40lbs+
• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with technology sales, including technical sales experience, is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandising effectively.
• Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Knowledge of phone etiquette for effective communication with customers over the phone.
• A positive attitude with a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
