Personal Support Worker (PSW) Windsor, Youth with Autism

HealthOPM is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide one-on-one care and behavioral support to a male youth with autism and complex special needs. This is a temporary role through our staffing agency, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to make a direct impact. Must have NVCI (nonviolent crisis intervention) training or Safe Management Group certification.

Pay & Perks
  • Hourly rate: $23+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Flexible weekday or weekend scheduling
  • Supportive agency team and compliance assistance
  • Gain hands-on experience supporting youth with complex needs
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and daily living support
  • Use NVCI or Safe Management Group training to ensure safety
  • Assist in de-escalating and managing challenging behaviors
  • Communicate effectively with client staff and HealthOPM
Schedule
  • Weekday (Mon-Fri) or weekend (Sat-Sun) availability
  • Shifts: 7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM - 11 PM, 11 PM - 7 AM
Qualifications
  • Current PSW certification
  • NVCI or Safe Management Group certification required
  • Experience supporting youth with autism and behavioral challenges
