Overview

Rizk Insurance Services in Calgary is currently seeking a Personal Lines Broker, to work from home on a full-time basis. A successful candidate will possess; superior customer service & time management skills, the ability to market and produce new personal lines business while consistently providing a high level of personalized service to existing clients. Previous Power Broker experience is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze client-specific risk exposure and make appropriate coverage recommendations
  • Quote and write new business while maintaining service levels for an existing book of business
  • Review renewals
  • Process endorsements
  • Upsell / Cross-Sell existing clients
  • Submit & Follow up on claims
  • Answer incoming calls
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • 1-4 years of personal lines insurance experience
  • Level 1 or 2 license
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, TBW as well as various company portals
  • Positive attitude / team player
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop lasting relationships with clients.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Solid understanding of policy wordings / coverage’s
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills
  • Some commercial lines experience is preferred
