Job summary

A leading insurance provider in Nipissing District, North Bay is seeking a Personal Insurance Advisor to enhance customer service. The successful candidate will be part of a structured training program and will handle client inquiries, renewals, and new policy sales. This role offers a flexible work environment along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and competitive compensation. Qualifications

  • Previous insurance experience preferred but not required.
  • RIBO License preferred.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing client service, advise on insurance matters, and conduct needs assessments.
  • Sell new policies to existing or new clients and retain the existing book of business.
  • Prepare documentation for insurers and process changes.

We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor (VIP BOB) to join BrokerLink and work out of our Sudbury-Marcus Drive or North Bay Branch on a Permanent (FT) Basis.

What The Role Entails
  • Benefit from a structured training and mentorship program led by our senior VIP Insurance Advisor, designed to support your professional growth and deepen your expertise in high-touch client service
  • Service on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
  • Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients, retain existing book of business
  • Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
  • Keep current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Actively participate in training initiatives
  • Participate in community marketing initiatives
The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply*
  • High School and or Post-Secondary Education
  • Previous Insurance experience preferred but not required.
  • RIBO License preferred
  • Exposure to Epic is an asset
  • Strong customer focus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfullyStrong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
