We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join BrokerLink in one of our offices in Newfoundland & Labrador on a Permanent FT basis.

No insurance experience is necessary for this role. We provide and pay for all training to become a licensed insurance broker in any of our Atlantic branches. Once you complete training, you will be on your way to helping people protect what’s most important to them.

What the Role Entails:

  • Servicing ongoing client needs, advising on insurance matters, conducting needs assessments, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conducting retention calls, and processing renewals
  • Selling new policies and writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
  • Communicating with Underwriters and Adjusters regarding guidelines and policies
  • Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes, and reviewing renewals
  • Staying current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
  • Participating actively in training initiatives

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • If you possess equivalent skills, please apply*
  • High School Diploma and/or Post-Secondary Education
  • A valid insurance license for Newfoundland & Labrador or willingness to obtain one
  • Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) is an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service skills and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Success in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
