Location: Longlac, ON • Duration: Part-time • Salary: $26.43 to $28.26 per hour

Overview

Longlac – Community Services for Independence North West (CSINW) is seeking reliable, energetic, caring and trustworthy individuals to assist persons with physical disabilities in their own homes (in a supportive housing or outreach setting) with activities of daily living, including personal care, transferring and homemaking.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Attendant Care Worker, you will:

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living in home and community settings
  • Assist with personal care, transferring, homemaking and related tasks as scheduled
  • Work as part of a team and follow directions
Qualifications
  • Good people skills; able to take directions and work as part of a team
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities
  • PSW training is an asset but not required; interest in the health care field is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours (morning, afternoon, evenings, nights and weekends)
  • Reliable means of transportation
Compensation & Training

Competitive starting wage: $26.43 to $28.26 per hour • Training is provided.
