Qualifications

• Must be able to be independent in Labour & Delivery within 6 months.
• Current certification in skills or commitment to complete within 1 year.
• Recent mother/baby dyad care within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of patient care through nursing process.
• Directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients.
• Utilizes knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity.

Skills

Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility
