Location: Mississauga (Greater Toronto Area), Canada (2-3 Days onsite)

Job Description and Responsibilities (Performance Testing and Delivery)

• Performance Testing (40%): assess DB, code, and infrastructure from a performance perspective for new features and the overall product; write component-level test cases; include data set-up; identify and RCA performance issues; define performance baselines in collaboration with the Prod/Eng teams; propose remediation options to product/eng teams.
• Building out tooling (40%): build a generic performance framework and reusable performance testing; address staging/UAT environment challenges; standardize performance framework; create ephemeral environments (spin-up/spin-down); size the cluster infra lens in AWS.
• Adhoc Support to teams (20%): address issues such as failing Playwright tests, CI/CD outages, and infra problems; support business hours; no on-call required.
• Primary Skills: Performance Test Engineering, K6, AWS infrastructure, TypeScript, Kubernetes (K8s), Terraform, auto-scale, sizing, query sizing, tuning; New Relic is mandatory; GitHub Actions is mandatory. If Datadog is used, New Relic becomes optional.
• Secondary Skills: Understanding of .NET, C#, React, Node; DB - Limitless Postgres on AWS; past domain experience is open as long as technology alignment exists.
