This Position reports to:
Canadian Payroll Manager

As a Payroll Coordinator (6 months contract), you will have the opportunity to perform day-to-day HR transactions for one or several assigned service lines or countries, while also managing complex and escalated tasks. Each day, you will ensure a high-quality customer experience by committing to complete, accurate and timely completion of HR transactions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the globally set standards for HR operations and ensuring that the respective business processes adhere to the local legal and regulatory requirements.

This role is located in Saint-Laurent and the work model is hybrid (2-3 days per month at the office).

Responsibilities
  • Master data validation for Weekly & Bi-Weekly payrolls
  • Prepare Records of Employment
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve issues for employees, managers and external clients via Customer Service tickets
  • Assist with Year-end validations
  • Assist with Project work
  • Payroll Reporting
Requirements
  • French is required for this role. English is also required in this role as the individual will be responsible for handling customer service cases which requires both written and oral communication with employees in all provinces within Canada
  • Strong excel knowledge
  • Basic Payroll knowledge
  • Knowledge of WorkDay is an asset
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests in an efficient and timely manner as well as work with cross-functional teams
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with attention to detail
  • A proactive way of working to serve customers with a can-do attitude
