Birtle Mainline Motors is looking for a Parts Manager to lead our parts department, support our service team, and provide exceptional customer service to retail and wholesale clients.

As a Parts Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the parts department - from inventory and supplier relationships to staff leadership and profitability. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers and technicians receive the right parts at the right time while maintaining an efficient, well‑organized department.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily parts department operations and ensure accurate, efficient workflow
  • Maintain an effective inventory control system, including stock levels, returns and aging inventory
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and supplier partners
  • Identify new suppliers and opportunities for parts sales growth
  • Support technicians and customers by ensuring correct parts selection
  • Train, mentor, and lead parts department staff
  • Create monthly and annual goals for department performance
  • Monitor department profitability and work toward achieving established targets
  • Lead regular meetings and ensure staff training requirements are met
  • Collaborate with dealership management to plan for future needs and promotions
  • Represent the department at staff meetings and dealership events
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in automotive parts operations or dealership environments (preferred)
  • Ability to analyze inventory, performance reports, and department metrics
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficiency with computer‑based inventory systems
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Valid driver's license
