As our next Tax Partner, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of our corporate tax planning and advisory practice within the Southern Ontario Team, with a special focus on the Windsor/Essex Region. Client Service Experience

You will provide practical advice that is unique to their business, while helping organizations navigate the complexities of their Corporate Canadian Tax requirements, combined with compliance, personal tax planning compilations, advisory and services.

• Play a key leadership role in growing, managing, and developing the Domestic Tax practice in Windsor Ontario that complements, and is supported by, the firmwide strategy.

• Work closely with a team of professionals providing a wide range of business advisory services across Southern Ontario to guide clients through the ever evolving tax landscape.

Key Requirements

Education

• Completion of Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in related field: Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Law, and/or Taxation.
• Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Designation and completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program.

Experience and Attributes

• 10+ years’ experience in public accounting or related industry.
• Significant tax planning and compliance experience including an in-depth understanding of Canadian Corporate taxation matters.
• Demonstrated experience growing a practice and business development which focuses on client relationships and proactively anticipating market needs.
• Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to be an active participant in the development of the tax team.
• Develop solutions with clients and co‑workers through collaborative effort and discussion.
• Commitment to quality, excellence and continual professional growth for yourself and for those you lead.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including exceptional interpersonal skills to earn the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues at all levels and influence decision‑makers.
