Who you are

Geotab is seeking a Partner Account Manager who will strategically expand a Partner’s footprint, and promote long-term sustainable, profitable business relationships for Geotab. If you love technology and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!

What you’ll do
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Partners.
  • Provide innovative and valuable business recommendations to increase Partner product knowledge and overall sales activity.
  • Manage and maintain revenue growth; work with internal stakeholders across the company to develop sales strategies and facilitate growth and expansion for assigned accounts.
  • Adapt to changes in business direction, products and needs from both Partners and internal Geotab perspective.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation and listening skills.
How you’ll make an impact
  • Enable Partner success by providing necessary tools, training, and resources to drive Geotab sales.
  • Provide a feedback loop from Partners about market needs and product performance to inform product development strategy.
  • Document activity through Salesforce; forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Ensure Partners and Geotab meet revenue, profitability and market share targets.
  • Conduct regular business review meetings with assigned Partners.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Partners and their customers; educate and demonstrate Geotab solutions.
  • Assist with RFPs/RFIs and coordinate with internal teams as required.
  • Engage Partners to collaborate with Pilots & Implementation to facilitate outcomes and onboarding plans.
  • Assess the Partner landscape to uncover growth opportunities and manage programs accordingly.
  • Build Geotab credibility, brand value and trust with the Partner network.
  • Coach and develop Partners via in-person meetings, training, demonstrations, webinars, and customer calls.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to maximize co-marketing and lead generation activities and ensure Geotab branding is strong in Partner portfolios.
  • Liaise with internal teams to share insights from Partner networks about satisfaction.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to build credibility and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of Geotab solutions, technology platforms, competitors and industry trends.
What you’ll bring to the role
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales and account management within a channel sales organization.
  • Flexibility to accommodate different time zones; willingness to travel 25-50% of the time, including internationally.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how Partners monetize in a channel ecosystem.
  • Experience in the telematics industry or strong knowledge of Geotab products and services and how they create value for Partners and end customers.
  • Proven forecasting accuracy for account and volume activities; track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to anticipate and understand Partner needs and provide viable solutions.
  • Diplomacy, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; technical competence with software such as Google Suite and CRM tools (Salesforce).
