Qualifications

• High school diploma and 6 months of related work experience.
• Knowledge of health-care procedures and mechanical equipment.
• Successful completion of internal legislated training is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned duties related to service and support.
• Support assessment of individuals' day-to-day needs.
• Provide personal and physical care, including medication administration.

Skills

Knowledge of health-care procedures

Experience with mechanical equipment (wheelchairs, lifts, G-tubes)

Valid driver’s licence

Education

High school diploma

Post-secondary education in Social Services or Developmental Services
