We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead the store. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and team development. Think of yourself as a blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle anything while driving sales and building customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and targets.
  • Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate, collaborative team.
  • Create buzz and engage customers through product promotion, social media, and services like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  • Provide leadership to ensure the store operates smoothly, balancing operational duties, delegation, and customer service.
  • Monitor shrink / loss prevention, payroll hours, and staff schedules.
  • Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
  • Analyze sales reports and data to develop strategies to meet sales goals.
  • Merchandise the store effectively, using planograms and launching promotions on schedule.
  • Partner with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience; a passion for music and pop culture is a plus.
  • Experience leading successful teams with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
  • Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
  • A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a bonus.

  • Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
