Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist Associate to work flexibly, supporting children and young adults in various settings. Candidates must be HCPC and RCOT registered with at least 2 years of paediatric experience. The role offers the flexibility of working hours and allows for home working for administrative tasks. Paediatric Occupational Therapist Associate/Locum (Self-Employed)

  • Band 6 or 7
  • Min. 18 hrs/week
  • Up to £40/hr

Are you an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for flexible, long-term work in Hampshire? We are recruiting for a self-employed Associate/Locum OT to support children and young adults aged 2-25 across both public and private sectors.

Role Highlights
  • Flexible hours: Minimum 18 hours/week up to full-time
  • Hourly rate: £36-£40 (based on experience and location)
  • Travel time and mileage paid for client visits
  • Home working available for admin and report writing
  • Supervision provided and paid
  • Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and deliver treatment sessions in homes, schools, nurseries, colleges, or clinics
  • Manage own caseload and diary
  • Write clinical notes and reports
Requirements
  • HCPC & RCOT registered (with Professional Indemnity Insurance)
  • Minimum 2 years paediatric experience in specialist/community settings
  • Sensory Integration qualifications (advantageous)
  • Full UK driving licence and own car
  • Based in Hampshire
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
  • Own laptop and mobile phone
  • Enhanced DBS required
