This is an interview position plus CEV.

This is a frontline supervisor position supporting FedEx Express (FXE) Safety Above All Culture. The role manages day-to-day sort operations and Cargo Handlers (CH) staff within a station. Responsibilities include leading employees in proper package handling, routing, and recovery of service failures within the station sort function. The Operations Supervisor oversees all CH functions, including work direction, mentoring, coaching, training, and ensuring compliance with FXE policies and government regulations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • College degree
  • 2 years of FedEx sort operations or senior hourly role experience OR 2 years supervisory experience in a related industry
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
  • Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training, including DG certification
  • Mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a team
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Effective communication skills: clear, concise, and empathetic
  • Focus on simplifying processes while maintaining quality
