What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Ensure transparent and accessible communication within the cooperative, driving member communication plans and collaborating with stakeholders
- Oversee membership communications, events, and initiatives, including all-hands meetings and annual reports
- Manage member forums and provide clear, concise responses while coordinating with key stakeholders
- Lead and manage strategic project initiatives, promoting lean and agile principles across the organization
- Maintain compliance with the Cooperative Association Act and manage all governance-related policy updates
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in operations, communications, or similar roles
- Proven track record of effective program management in small or medium-sized businesses
- Experience developing and executing communications plans in a remote business environment
- Familiarity with project management software (Asana an asset), GSuite, Slack, and other collaboration tools
- Experience leading and working with international and remote teams in a cross-functional and agile environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Certified Scrum Master
- Project Management Practitioner
- Experience managing relationships with external stakeholders and PR opportunities
- Experience delivering strategic communications for diverse audiences, considering cultural and language factors
