About the role
We’re hiring a curious, hands-on operator to own and deliver internal operations projects and bring AI/automation into everyday workflows. You’ll coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines, experiment with modern tools, and turn improvements into simple, documented systems that save time and reduce errors. This role reports to leadership and partners closely across teams.
What you’ll do
- Lead priority ops projects end-to-end: plan, track, unblock, and land deliverables.
- Shadow teams to learn workflows, surface root-cause issues, and propose pragmatic fixes.
- Identify, test, and implement AI/automation (e.g. Replit, Zapier, Power Automate, AppSheet, GPT/LLMs, etc.) for time savings.
- Manage external contractors/resources; influence internal stakeholders to hit milestones.
- Create concise SOPs, checklists, and short Looms so improvements stick.
- Report weekly on progress, impact, and next steps.
What you bring
- 3–5 years in project management, operations, or process improvement (industry-agnostic).
- Strong self-learner with hands-on curiosity for automation/AI tools.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and follow-through; comfortable influencing without authority.
- Bias to simplify, automate first, delegate second.
Your first 90 days (outcomes)
- Deliver 20+ hours/month of time savings across the team (≥ 10 hours from management tasks).
- Complete 2–3 backlog projects to production use with measurable outcomes.
- Present a 6–12 month roadmap of operational priorities and automation opportunities.
- Stand up a lightweight project reporting framework (progress, ROI, blockers).
- Document 3–4 AI tools tested with fit assessments.
