Responsibilities
- The Operations Manager assumes responsibility of Parts and Service employees, monitoring performance.
- Maintain Dealership Standards against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary to correct.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and efficiencies in all departments.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns
- Analyze reports (e.g., inventory, sales, and daily reports) to determine the operational activities of the company and ensure optimum performance
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
- Previous experience in managing staff is an asset.
- Must be computer literate - be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and be able to learn a new computer program.
- Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift.Experience in the truck industry, rental, or automotive industry is an asset.
- Has great attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and troubleshooting skills.
- A good team player has a sense of urgency and can multitask.
- Good work ethic and detail-oriented.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting.
