Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in the trade, preferably in hydroelectric power stations.
• Mechanical/Electrical Trade qualification is an asset.
• Hold a valid Ontario Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hydroelectric generating station operations.
• Perform and document regular maintenance on hydroelectric generators.
• Troubleshoot and adjust electrical equipment.

Skills

Working knowledge of high voltage equipment

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively without supervision

Education

Electrical/Mechanical Technician/Technologist Diploma
