Qualifications

  • Completion of CAT Assessment Training through CSME is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct catastrophic assessments and provide occupational therapy services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage your own work schedule and caseload with full administrative support.
  • Expand skills through a mentoring program and involvement in assessments.

Occupational Therapist – DMARehability

Permanent Full-Timeand/or Part-time

DMARehability is a leader in the provision of community based medical, vocational and occupational services. Established in 1, DMARehability has grown to be one of the largest interprofessional services leading Occupational Therapy services across Western Ontario. We provide both individual and program-based treatment and assessment to auto insurance carriers, life insurance companies, legal community and government agencies.

In 2024, DMARehability partnered with Lifemark Health Group, which has led to further expansion of services offered to clients including veterans and Canadian Forces members, first responders and other individuals facing physical and mental health barriers to their daily life.

DMARehability, in partnership with Lifemark Health Group provides the flexibility to manage your own work schedule and caseload, full administrative, clinical, and IT support.The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to expand their skill set through our mentoring program and additionally have the opportunity to work as a part of our Catastrophic Assessment Division working directly with our physicians and clinicians in a collaborative assessment model.


What you need to succeed?

  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Experience working independently or as part of a team in the completion of catastrophic assessments
  • Have taken the CAT Assessment Training offered through CSME
  • CLCP
  • Has experience working with TBI and/or SCI patients
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management, computer and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable vehicle and willingness to travel
