NCCS offers a variety of programs and services to children, youth, and families in Prince Rupert and the wider geographic area that includes Haida Gwaii. As a member of a multi‑disciplinary service delivery team, under the supervision of the Team Lead for Goal Focused Services, the Occupational Therapist develops, implements, and evaluates individually designed programs of intervention and provides related assistive technology, educational, vocational, and recreational recommendations for children and youth with physical disabilities and/or neurodiverse needs. The goal of the OT program is to help children and youth meet developmental milestones, minimize physical and sensory challenges, and improve success in self‑care, play, self‑regulation, and community participation.
